Dr. Thomas William Hoang, MD

Best neurologist in New York City! I saw two other neurologist before Dr Hoang who made the right diagnosis for me. He put me on medication for my nerve problem and I am walking better! Go see him now if you need a neurologist!!

I went in with neuropathic pain (burning/tingling), the doctor literally took two minutes to say "yeah i dont know what that is" and after i told him I was referred to a neurologist he said "yeah they send us people all the time, doesnt mean we are the right people to treat it". He was not very pleasant to deal with and seemed more interested in getting me out the door.

Dr. Hoang is a great neurologist. I made an emergency appointment because of my back pain. He was able to see me quickly and prescribed me with medication to help my back pain. He is nice, listens to what I had to say and seemed very smart. So glad I found him!

I saw him and asked questions. He only said yes or no and didn't give me any reason why he thought so. He doesn't look at patients eye. I felt he had some kind of communication issues with patients. I don't recommend him. Wasting time.

I saw Dr. Hoang for my neuropathy. He had great bedside manners. He took his time to explain the steps to his diagnosis. He answered all my questions. After many years living with this condition, I feel hopeful that something good will come. He is astute and has a plan by the end of the visit. The office locations is great too. very convenient.

I had a great experience with Dr. Hoang. I came to him with what I thought was just headaches and he examined me and told me I had signs of MS. He ordered a bunch of test and confirmed that I had MS. In a way I am relieved and terrified! So glad I came to see him or else I would have never started treatment for MS, a disease that I did not even consider!!

I brought my mother here to see Dr Hoang for her memory. He took the time to talk to her and examine her. He gave me time to ask questions and we had a very good experience. He ordered testing to make sure it was not anything else. I know there is no cure for dementia but it was nice to hear it from a doctor. He gave us great advice on what my mother can do. After the appointment, she said she really likes him. I guess she gives him 5 stars too

My primary doctor sent me to see Dr. Hoang for my numbness. He was very thorough and smart. He figured out that I had carpal tunnel and sent me for testing. I did not feel rushed or pushed into taking medication. He was very patient with me. My hands have been feeling better. glad I went

Can't say enough great things about him. He really helped me and pointed me in the right direction.

I had to change neurologist due to my other neurologist no longer taking my insurance. So glad I found Dr. Hoang. He is very attentive and detailed . He helped me come up with a better strategy for my headache. I really felt like he knew what he was talking about. We had some testing done in his office. The wait for the test was long but it was nice to be able to do it at the same place. I recommend him for any neurology problem.
