From my first visit with Dr. Hodgkiss, he has invested a great deal of time learning about my rare diagnosis. We have truly partnered together in addressing my chronic pain, learning new methods and implementing them. Dr. Hodgkiss demonstrates a commitment to individualizing care for each patient he sees, exceeding the 'standard of care', and pursuing new methods to alleviate chronic pain. He's to be applauded for his commitment to educating himself and others. Yes there's a wait to see him at the office, but it's because he's spending time listening to each one of us, and that's ok with me. Some appointments with us are short and quick, and sometimes we need more time - and he makes that time. His focus is on you and your needs not what boxes are on the form or what's quick, easy or "the way we've always done it". Doc's a special man, special doctor with a true commitment to his hippocratic oath. I'm ever so glad he's here and in my life. Very blessed.

Dr. Hodgkiss is compassionate and wise. He has a great bedside manner and does whatever he can to help patients within his abilities or make appropriate referrals. Highly recommended!

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Hodgkiss last week when he performed a bone marrow biopsy on my aunt. He was to perform the procedure under guided CT scan. After he explained the procedure I thanked him for choosing to use her left hip due to a recent fall involving her falling onto her back. Dr. Hodgkiss asked her if she had been X-rayed. She had actually been x-rayed twice and told there were no breaks. He smiled very compassionately and offered to scan her back "just to make sure nothing was broken." When all was completed, he found 2 broken vertebrae. She has been scheduled for a procedure to treat the breaks. I have worked in the health care industry for 35 years. Dr. Hodgkiss practices patient centered medicine much like the patient centered medicine when doctors made house calls. His professionalism and expertise are amazing. I would recommend to anyone wanting the "BEST."
