Dr. Thomas S. Hong, MD, is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with Synergy Orthopedic Specialists in San Diego, California.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, followed by a Fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University in Stanford, California.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritic conditions affecting the hip and knee, as well as the management of failed joint replacements with an approach that  combines principles of engineering and human anatomy to help patients return to an active lifestyle and improve their quality of life.
