Dr. Thomas E. Hong, MD

The wait time prior to the procedure for several hours. His staff was rude. Since the operation I had discomfort from his work would I would rather I just do it rather than go through that with them again

Dr. Hong is an excellent doctor but is not thorough with the after-care of an ablation procedure. Reaching out to Dr. Hong's office after the procedure was stressful. Nurse doesn't call back, didn't refill a prescription (her back-up responded a week later) and failed to call the pharmacy for a new prescribed medication. Also did not return repeated calls.

Scheduling is only done by his nurse. I was referred to him by another doctor and left multiple voice messages requesting an appointment, but his nurse never returned my calls to schedule. I was since referred to another cardiologist because of this, and three weeks later still haven't received a call back from Dr. Hong's scheduling nurse. He may be a fantastic doctor, but a hassle such as this to schedule with staff who never return a call after leaving multiple messages is unprofessional.

Dr. Hong and his staff were thorough in their preparation for and execution of the procedure, left atrial ablation. The outcome has been positive and physician followup has been excellent.

Excellent doctor, excellent staff. Very caring, very quick, can't say enough good about him.
