Dr Hurd will get you hooked on opiates, then when you realize the procedures" that he performs on you are worse than useless, they actually cause the pain to be worse, and actually damage your back, and you tell him you're not going to do the procedures anymore, he WILL THREATEN TO TAKE AWAY YOUR OPIATES. Yep, that's his game, he will tell you, There's really nothing anyone can do for you because of your multiple damages , but at the same time, he forces you to pay for his expensive, useless, procedures, AND. he makes you do two practice "procedures", paying for each one in full, before he then does, "the real procedure" on only one side of your back, so he can then charge you yet again, to be put under the pain and torture of these nerve ablations. to do the OTHER side of your back. Don't let this sick you-know-what own your soul, by getting your hooked on drugs. Pain Clinics, especially his, don't work.

Always takes the time to understand our problems with pin point accuracy in treatment. Recommend him to anyone with back pain or any other joint in the body.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Hurd for years. His office is always packed and sometimes the wait is long for that most important first appointment. But, as I told a woman who was complaining about the long wait, I would stand in line to see Dr. Hurd (thankfully we can sit). I find Dr. Hurd to be an extremely intelligent doctor that truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him but prepare yourself to wait. He's well worth it.

Dr. Hurd is a compassionate and caring professional. He kept me as pain free as possible while I was still working utilizing a combination of epidurals, SI joint injections, trigger point injections and pain meds. When I filed for disability he was great to write a letter to the judge laying out my many diagnoses. He has an upbeat personality which is infectious. Why would I go anywhere else when I’ve got the best. Bless you Dr. Hurd.

Dr. Hurd is the best of the best! I saw another pain management Dr. a few times and the difference between them was striking. The first one basically ran us all through like a sort of human assembly line. I haven't been able to walk and thought it was due to my degenerative spine issues. Dr. Hurd took the time on my MRI to say nothing in the report showed a reason for my not walking. He believed it was a rare sort of other issue. He also tested my reflexes, etc. He performed a different procedure from what the other pain Dr. did and, unlike my earlier experiences, this one has helped me quite a bit. I highly recommend Dr. Hurd to anyone dealing with pain issues!

Last month, my PCP referred me to Dr. Hurd, as the Primary Care Drs are getting away from prescribing certain pain meds. He gave me Dr. Hurd's name. I had a whole month to get established with a new physician, so I was not in panic mode. The office staff was very efficient in getting my records, being patient with me, and putting me at ease. Dr. Hurd's nurse was very kind to me. She knew that I was nervous because I have had the same dr for years.. Dr. Hurd give me a very thorough exam. He found an undiagnosed problem that has caused my terrible pain for years. He treated it immediately. I have total trust in this doctor. His credentials are thru the roof. I know that I will always have pain, but at least it will be controlled by a very competent medical staff, along with me doing my part. Thank You, Pain Solutions Treatment Center.

was able to stop the pain in my neck and is now working on my leg/back and I have full faith in him to stop the pain. one of the nicest doctors I have met during my 85 years on this earth.

I saw Dr Hurd several years ago. It is quite apparent that he is far too self centered to have any bedside manner. I was left in an exam room for over an hour. I strolled down the hall to see Dr Hurd leaning back on a stool pontificating to some cute little medical Rep. I said Dr. Hurd if you can't see me pretty soon, I will have to reschedule. Sure enough he came into the exam room and said opps I will be right back. That was another 45 minute wait. He didn't offer any explanation, say I am sorry for your wait. We did not exchange three word. He is quite pompous. , Needless to say that was my third visit and I never returned. On the two previous visits he had little to say and I never say that pretty smile on the web site. He looks like a really nice caring guy. There was no indication during any of my visits that he cared. He never said anymore then he had to in order to inject my head.

I really don't understand the negative complaints, as my experience was totally different. Dr. Hurd took his time and had an excellent bedside manner. I have a feel some people may have taken his confidence for arrogance, because he clearly knows his profession well and knows what he is doing when it comes to pain management. I'm really sorry for those that didn't have the best experience, but I left feeling better and with the medication that has helped me when none of the others have.

When you are suffering 24-7 you need to feel that your doctor gets it!When you are hurting the doctor needs to make eye contact with you when he is addressing you and not looking around the room. A smile, a kind word to calm your fears. When he asks you a question allow the patient to respond without interrupting when they try to respond. I was scared to death when I went to this doctor....afraid of what might be wrong etc. He was unkind and laughed at me...and asked what I was doing there. I started to cry...BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! He sort of wrote me off. I am still hurting to no avail. If you are a gentle soul or a senior citizen DO NOT SEE DR. HURD!!!!! You will emerge damaged and still frightened. DR. Hurd has the curse of many a physician and that is a god complex. He is arrogant, mean, cruel...with no bedside manner. May god forgive him for all the others he has damaged....
