I'd heard he was great from parents of kids with epilepsy, but I wish I had known that he ONLY treats children with confirmed epilepsy. Our child was having new onset severe neurological symptoms and we had no idea what the diagnosis was going to be, so we were referred to neurology.When we first met him, he informed us that he was a specialist in epilepsy and didn't know how to help us. He didn't even bother to perform a physical exam and suggested we find a different specialist! Really, the office staff should disclose this to potential new patients in advance to avoid wasting everyone's time and money.

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Ireland and the staff in his office. They showed great care for my child and took their time to listen in our treatment. Dr. Ireland's bedside manner is great. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us choose the best plan for treatment in our future.
