Bad personality. Doesnt know what he is doing. Doesnt like you to ask questions. This guy is truly in it for the money. His assistant is no better.

Dr. Izquierdo was kind comforting person who truly cared about my needs and worries, so are the girls working in the front.

Let me begin by saying that the Rego Park State of the Art Practice and the Jackson Heights staff were totally very professional and definitely have the patient experience in mind. This was my first time ever having this exam, I cannot tell you how seamless this whole procedure was, from the OR techs to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Izquierdo (great team). I would definitely recommend everyone to use their professional medical services.

Dr Izquerdo is a business man. Not a doctor. His only interest is to generate money by performing procedures when they are not even indicated. I went to see him for some abdominal pain and he sent me for an ultrasound and then automatically said I will also need endoscopy (eventhough I am young and did not have any significant symptoms). Made me undergo anesthesia and then said "everything looks ok but we sent a biopsy just in case". In fact he doesn't even see his patients most of the time, his PA does initial visit. Dr Izquerdo seemed to be annoyed when I asked him two questions and wanted to brush everything off to the PA. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. He preys on the hispanic community because he is one of the few spanish speaking GI doctors.

This man is brilliant and caring. He is practical and objective. One has to pay attention to every word he says because what've he says is very meaningful. Be prepared to ask specific and appropriate questions. He does not like to waste time.

Never saw the actual doctor after 3 visits within 6 months. Just the assistant, which i thought it was crazy!!! So decided to go to another Doctor, and as soon as i explained my issues they scheduled a set of test including endoscopy & colonoscopy, and they found my issue within a month. So don't waste your time with this Doctor. DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR GO SOME WHERE ELSE!!!
