Dr. Jacob is a good listener, well established in the community, trustworthy, faithful and encouraging. He enables patients to relax into his care. I am grateful for his wisdom and discernment in all things needed.

Dr. Jacob administered ECT treatments to me for depression, the clinical result is excellent, and he has a very nice bedside manner. But he does not participate in most insurance networks. I found out when I got home from the hospital and reviewed my first Explanation of Benefits from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, that Dr. Jacobs charges FOUR TIMES what Anthem allows as reasonable and customary for ECT treatments. As a result, I am responsible for about $4,200 for my ECT treatments and accompanying services, even though the hospital where the treatments were done was in my network. The anesthesiologists for the ECTs were also in my network. I wish I had known prior to the treatments that his fees were so exorbitant; I likely would have chosen to go a different route to get my ECT treatments.
