Meet Dr. Thomas Jusino   "The Smile Engineer"                                  Dr. Jusino graduated with high honors in 1981 from the University of Michigan Dental                     School with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon                     (an honorary dental society) and entered the University of Michigan School of Graduate                     Studies where he obtained his Master's degree and certificate of Orthodontics in 1983.                     Dr. Jusino has received awards from the Academy of General Dentistry and the American                     Academy for Dental Radiology.                          Dr. Jusino also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. This                     unique combination of talents …enables him to design treatment plans that shorten therapy                     time in many cases.                          He presently serves as a Delegate to the Michigan Dental Association, and was the                     1998-1999 President of The Oakland County Dental Society. Dr. Jusino is also a member                     of the American Association of Orthodontists and numerous other orthodontic specialty                     societies. Membership provides access to post-graduate conferences, seminars, study clubs                     and specialty publications that enable Dr. Jusino to stay in the forefront of his specialty.                         Dr. Jusino's concern for the betterment of orthodontic care has been recognized and                      appreciated in media and beyond. He has been featured in Detroit Monthly Magazine,                     Corporate Detroit Magazine, The Detroit News, The Oakland Press, and Observer Eccentric                     Newspaper. He has been a guest speaker on WCAR Talk Radio, and has appeared on                     Channel 7, Channel 4, and Fox 2 News. His practice is committed to excellence, and dedicated                     to helping patients enjoy long term success in their dental comfort, appearance and function.                         Away from his practice Dr. Jusino is an avid sports enthusiast. He and his family enjoy                     the great outdoors, and participating in activities such as rollerblading, skiing, swimming                     and hiking. The Jusinos are happiest communing with nature. Dr. Jusino supports                     America's National Parks, and his travels have included camping in many of our Nation's                     beautiful treasures.
