It was very good

Dr Kehl always is so thorough and reads all my past charts and my latest lab results . Double check my current medications. He asks me lots of questions and if I have any questions. I always feel so good when I leave my appointment and look forward to my next year check up.

I've always been impressed with Dr. Kehl's ability to get to the heart(!) of the matter in my conferences with him.This was a specially arranged appointment Dr. Kehl provided me after I had experience a very bad fall recently. Dr. Kehl has two very important abilities I appreciate: he goes into a detailed discussion involving all the information regarding the problem and gives his analysis of what what actually happened and why; he then proceeds to work with me to discuss a path forward to address the problem to prevent it from happening again. He is communicative, precise and makes sure I understand the ramifications of any decisions, answering in detail any concerns or general questions I have.

After a lifetime of heart arrhythmias and Prolonged QT crisis I saw Dr Kehl just one time. I liked him. I felt he was going to be on board with helping me with debilitating syncope most of al,l caused by a genetic disorder I had been diagnosed with many years ago. I felt he understood this is serious. After collapsing at church with several doctors present and a nurse I had with me at the time, I called him to say, "what's the plan?"His response was, "I heard these events are in your head."Hmmm. He heard. Through the grapevine? Shortly thereafter a Prolonged QT of 600 plus was very frightening and paramedics were baffled as were other doctors. I also began a new RX regime to help keep me on my feet and to keep me from dropping dead. Next time more medicine and less community gossip. Dr. Kehl could have cost me my life if I had kept him as a cardiologist. What I don't understand is why did he acted as is he understood my disease and played such a dangerous game. When doctors have ideas… about patients and don't discuss them with the patient, the patient is at a loss to know that the doctor is treating them unfairly behind their back. This kind of medical practice is probably common, but it is very dangerous. For cardiology it can be lethal. Was it malicious? probably not. Just arrogant and indifferent to my life. I am told that my heart valves are hammered and my heart is not in good shape and I am sadly not ever going to recover from my medical condition. This is not Dr. Kehl's fault, he just could have been more careful with a patient who already has had a very rough run medically with no chance of recovery.

Dr. Kehl is thorough, understanding, and kind.

Dr. Kehl has been my cardiologist for almost 15 years now. He has always taken care of me, my health, and has great bedside manner.

Thomas Kehl has been my internist and cardiologist for over 40 years. He has provided exceptional care. He is knowledgable, caring, thorough, and pleasant. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kehl is very professional and caring. If he has any type of concerns about you and whatever is going on in your life that may be affecting your health, he will make sure everything is fine. You can trust him. When he says he will call you, he will - about 95% of the time...and that's commendable. The other doctor he works with, Dr. Galloway, is one of the best. If you have either of these physicians as your cardiologist, you are some of the luckiest patients out there!
