Dr. Thomas Michael Kemmerly, MD

Dr. Kemmerly is outstanding. He has performed an endoscopy for me in the past. He is caring and personable. The front office of his practice is terrible. I had an appointment for an endoscopy this morning. When I arrived to check in I found out that the appointment had been cancelled because they needed cardiac clearance. They called my yesterday to confirm the appointment and said nothing at that time or at anytime leading up to the appointment about needing clearance. I held back taking some medicine as instructed. We drove up to keep our appointment as expected. The check-in desk was not apologetic. This is not the firsat time that the office supporting Dr. Kemmerly has been difficult and even rude with me. This should not be taken as a professional complaint aimed at Dr. Kemmerly but at the way the practice he works for handles the administrative duty. I am sorry to say that I will find another Doctor and inform my primary care Doctor about the difficulty that I have had… repeatedly.
