Dr. Thomas John Keul, MD

Dr Keul was my in patient psychiatrist, during my time of in patient hospitalization, in the mid 1990's. Fortunately, I have not been hospitalized since, despite my diagnosis from Dr. of NOS schizophrenia. Dr. Keul was fantastic, and a great listener. I was the difficult one at the time, being very guarded and distrustful, due to the trauma at the time of experiencing my psychosis.

Dr. Keul is an excellent and caring doctor who has his patient's best interests at heart. My mother was admitted to Abbott Northwestern with serious physical health issues and needed to have a commitment put on her to address these issues as her mental state did not allow her to make wise decisions for herself. Dr. Keul was there throughout the process and worked with the family to make sure my mother received the help she needed. He was receptive to medication suggestions and changes and was easy to reach and was an integral part of the process. I would highly recommend him.

Very competent and caring doctor. Deals with very difficult patients with serious mental health problems.

Dr. Keul was supposedly my "doctor or record" when I was inpatient at Abbott. I never even met him, yet he testified in court to meeting with me twice, the lying scumbag. And of course had a "professional" opinion about me. His testimony was via telephone (such a busy busy man, apparently), so I have yet to lay eyes on him. His side did not prevail in court.
