Dr. Thomas Anthony Kopitnik, MD

Dr Kopitnik saved my life when I was 15, clipping several AVMs that I had. I remember him speaking to me and not just my parents, and making sure I understood what was happening. After the initial surgery the arteriogram showed further AVM and he was able to handle that too. 26 years later, and I am still so grateful for him.

Confidently knowledgeable which feels reassuring during a brain surgery. He cared enough to leave me in tact after. I am so appreciative of him and his team I owe them my life

I was treated as if I didn't understand English nor have any knowledge about osteology when I do have a MD in Archeology, but the color of my skin determined his bedside manner which was rushed every single time.

You will be worse off after the surgery and he will not care. He will pawn you off on other doctors and does not have the balls to return your phone calls.

TOTALLY SCREWED UP SURGERY. REAL EAGER TO DO UNNECESSARY SURGERY...WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. BEWARE!!!

I was very impressed with Dr. Kopitnik. He was patient, compassionate, and very skilled. His level of confidence and his positive attitude made a world of difference. He completed a 7 level fusion on me that other doctors did not want to do. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. kopitnik preformed a two level fusion in my neck to repair a "botched" fusion preformed by a hack in northern wyoming. A week later...It's been 4 years since life has been this great!! pain is almost gone, and i can sleep!! There is a special place in heave for surgeons like dr kopitnik.. he truly is at the top of his game, i would refer him to anyone i know! thanx Doc!! you saved my life too!!

I highly recommend this physician! He has done a cervical spinal fusion for me (repairing a botched job done by a different surgeon), as well as a lumbar fusion for my husband! He takes the time to clearly diagnose your problem, discusses all options for your care, allows plenty of time for questions, AND is a very highly skilled surgeon! I have been a nurse for 20+ years, and rarely am impressed by any physician, but Dr. Kopitnik is an exception! Trust this guy!
