If I could give a zero I would. I had to find another endocrinologist after mine retired. My new primary referred me to him. I have been treating my thyroid for 20 years and know the tests etc. that should be done and how an exam should happen. Literally this man spent 5 minutes with me, never felt my thyroid or did any exam. I TRIED telling him about my history and he just dismissed me. Waste of time and may actually be one of the worst doctors I have been too.

Was referred there, first referral they LOST, another one was sent (after waiting over 2 weeks to hear from them) to be placed on the Dr. desk and was told it would be the following week before the doctor will look at it and let me know if he would see me. So I wait until the day they stated, call again, get a day further down the road. Needless to say I told them I needed to know if I was going to be seen or not. Becky stated it was up to the doctor on whether he accepted me or not so I said I was going to try and get a referral to another doctor in the meantime while waiting for him to make up his mind . Call again the date I was told he would know by to be told that since I stated I was going to seek another referral that they returned the one to him to my referring doctor. Almost a month of waiting to start all over again. Needless to say, a person can die while waiting to be seen by him.

I believe he showed a caring spirit, when ever I left a message he always returned my call , wasn’t as soon as I would have liked but he would always call

I have super high thyroid antibodies, but my other thyroid levels are normal. I am having symptoms consistent with hypothyroidism. He told me I'd have to deal with it, there was nothing he could do. This is inconsistent with all the medical journal articles I've read. If you want someone who is caring and has some critical thinking skills, avoid this guy at all costs.

Worst Dr office to talk to someone with a question. Listen to lengthy voice mail from WSPO then listen to longer one fromDr Koroscil'S nurse that pretty much repears what you have already heard...called andleft messages everyday for a week and never got an answer. VERY BAD office management and WORST patient care. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to a single person. He is hands down the most uncaring and dismissive doctors i have EVER had. I have gone to him 3 times now and that was one too many. Iâ??ll be switching to a doctor that actually knows what they are doing and cares about helping people...pretty sure all this jerk cares about is a paycheck with as little effort as possible. JERK!

I definitely would not recommend this doctor! This is the most uncaring, unknowledgeable doctor I have ever met & I am 64 yrs. old! He checked my lymph nodes in my neck & that was the extent of his examination! He had ordered a couple of pre-appointment tests. He spent less than 10 mins. with me. Told me tests were within normal range. Suggested I try eliminating one of my meds and he did not see the need to treat me any further! He did not even want me to let him know how I did after coming off the med. Maybe it was because I have Medicare or am not the President! If he has any scientific medical knowledge, he sure did not show it.

Contacting Dr. Korocil's office is not easy. A live person NEVER answers the office phone, so you have to leave a message. After leaving 3 messages over a 3 day period for someone to call me back, I had to physically go to the office to get my question answered.

This doctor is amazing. I have a rare disorder and it was very hard finding someone who knew about it, but then to find someone who actually understood it, and explained it to me so that I had a better understanding, was just remarkable. I have now been a patient of Dr. Koroscil's for over 7 years- and I plan on staying with him until I die, or he retires, lol, whichever comes first! He is truly the BEST! :)
