Dr. Thomas Derek Kowalik, MD

Dr. Thomas Kowalik is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating bone, joint, and muscle conditions. He earned his medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University. With 15 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Kowalik has developed expertise in helping patients restore mobility and reduce pain. He speaks both Spanish and English, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population.

Dr. Kowalik practices at multiple locations throughout the Portland metro area, including OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center, Oregon Health and Science University Hospital, and Shriners Hospitals for Children Portland. His clinical focus includes treating osteoarthritis and knee osteoarthritis, conditions that affect joint movement and cause pain.
