I have to laugh reading these bad reviews. Yes, we all have personalities we might not jell with as easily as others. But Dr. Lagrelius with that demeanor is what saved my life in the ER. I was brought in by ambulance evaluated, CT scanned for gallstones, put aside on morphine with my son by me. Dr. Lagrelius was notified of my arrival. When Dr.L showed up in a very short time, he was barking orders of testing left and right (not popular with nurses because of that) but it was his "assertive" way that quickly discovered I was Septic. As he had later said "you almost kicked the bucket young lady", I was 60yrs old. I brag about him to this day, now almost 70. I don't care about bedside manner anymore; I get short and opinionated quite often myself. Who doesn't.

The doctor is arrogant, impatient, and seems to have an anger issue. Not someone you want as a geriatric doctor. Also has a bad reputation amongst his neighbors in Redondo Beach!

Arrogant person with a bad temper. Seems to have an anger issue, even known to be a grouch a nuisance in the neighborhood he lives in (Redondo Beach).

I work at the hospital near this guy's office. He is rude, arrogant and obnoxious when it comes to talking to him behind the scenes. He ALWAYS wants his way no matter what. Little did he know my OWN family pays BIG bucks to see him. Don't burn bridges and it's okay to judge the book by it's cover. Lesson learned.
