Dr. Lahr is the only doctor to take the time to actually find out what my problem was! After many years seeing lots of specialst and never getting anywhere..Dr. Lahr figured it out and got me to the right specialist and on the right medications. When I say Ive been to many doctors..I mean over 5 not including specialist in the past 4 years.. I had been subjhected to every test known to man it seemed... I will be following him as he moves his practice out of the MCMH/IU network for sure! When you find a doctor who LISTENS and actually HEARS what you are saying, takes the time to explain his theories and the reasons behind them and makes patient care the focus--- The last office staff really left a lot to be desired, but that was beyond his control and something the new office will rectify I'm sure! I trust this man so much I am getting my parents to switch to him too! AND I dont trust them to just anyone!

Dr. Lahr is a very professional and knowledgable doctor. My husband even drives over an hour to see him (which he has refused to do for other doctors). Dr. Lahr has an awesome bedside manner. He takes time to talk with you and treats you with the utmost respect. As long as Dr. Lahr is practicing medicine, I will not go to anyone else...period. I'm a former registered nurse and I've had experience with many doctors and Dr. Lahr is a rare and precious jewel.

Absolutely dislike most of the staff. You will never get a return phone call. They NEVER take notes of your phone call or pass them on to the proper professional. Dr Lahr is great, but as most doctors in this type of environment is over booked with a crappy staff!

Dr. Thomas Lahr's office is listed as accepting new patients. However when you call to make an appointment you must first be "pre-qualified" to become a patient. This means that they want to look at your insurance and know what current medical conditions you have and meds you are on. They them tell you that Dr. Lahr will look over the information and let you know whether or not he wants you as a new patient or not...extremely unprofessional. They also say that they will get back with you within 48 hours. It took over a week for anyone to call back. Needless to say by that time I found another dr. that I am very happy with. I would NOT recomend this office to anyone!!!
