Dr.Lavin is a great physician. I recommend him highly. I wrote something that I regret!! He explained everything and now I understand. He listened to all of my concerns and gave his advice. I will se the gastroenterologist and together will get my issues resolved. Be safe.

Dr Lavin is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. Very caring. His staff from the patient advocate department t the nurses were amazing. The process can be overwhelming but his staff was there to support me each and every step of the way.

Dr.Lavin has been great in the past . This time I was not explained that revision GBY surgery is not alway a success. The original "Honeymoon period "that's the one that you have the most weight loss, is wouldn't be the same for revision. I would just fix the hernia and no do the revision. I had tons of completion and been vomiting just about the 11 month after the surgery. All the test they done say that" anatomically"I m fine. Tell that to my body!!! The people that I want to thank are Ramsey and Cassidy. Especially Ramsey she is great. I will continue to find the answer the complexities of Sever after surgery pains.

Call Dr.Lavin's office because I have severe pain You don't know what it is. The nurse that answer the phone was a lost its 4:45 and she's asking me to go for blood work. My appointment is with the surgeon at 10 a.m. tomorrow where does she expect me to go get blood work at this time. She said she didn't call me because they were in clinic with the nurse practitioner. I will probably end up going to the emergency room, the pain is very bad and I'm 2 months and two days out. Has anybody ever had this kind of problem please answer me. The only reason why I go to dr. Lavin cuz he is the most amazing person I've ever encounter as a physician, competence friendly and great bedside manners other than that I will not be going to that office cuz I hate the experience!!

I had 3 surgeries the sa.e day.I am very disappointed that for follow up he was not there. The Nurse Practitioner had no idea as to what exactly he did.So I didn't understand why on post up visit he was not there to explain. My post up app were change 3 times to accommodate him/ not me. Even like that "HE IS A MASTER AT THI TYPE OF SURGICAL PROCEDURES "He should be more careful choosing his staff, very uncaring and lost!!! The so call nutritionist very pessimistic and the N P non supportive. NEXT TIME I AM ASKING TO SEE HIM.

Dr. Lavin is great doctor and a very caring person. That's what I have experienced. He has not dissapoited me yet. He bedside manner is nothing what is on the other reviews. He's not an arrogant, nor money hungry. He is very busy and at times you have to wait. I am not happy with the front staff.Chris the nurse also.Danielle she is one of a patient advocate ,She comes across a very rude and uncaring.
