Dr. Thomas Hsueh-Sheng Lin

Had a gum graft completed, and the suturing to keep the donated graft in place was an utter failure. The grafted gum rinsed out of the stitching after the FIRST medicated rinse. Now I need to wait six weeks for the donor and recipient site to heal before I can go get a less invasive Chao Pinhole™ Similar surgical procedure completed for the same 1K charge! Should have found and went to Oakton Family Dentistry instead of taking a referral to come here.

I was relatively new to the DC area in 2016 when I needed to find a top-rated periodontist who could work with my insurance. ( TriCare / MetLife ). After some online research, I settled on two. The first was impressive, though she was going to charge 2x what Dr. Lin charged. After my initial consult with Dr. Lin, I decided to go with him --and the lower charge (hence lower co-pay) was not necessarily the reason. Fast forward 8 months, and 3 perio-surgeries later, with the last one scheduled for 8 weeks from writing this review. I have gotten to know Dr. Lin and am very impressed with his skills in periodontics. The work he has done has been amazing and has healed beautifully. Not only is he skilled in his work, his professionalism is excellent. Dr. Lin takes the time to explain in detail the procedures and answer questions. He is easy to chat with, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. Now, I have never had any anxiety with regards to dental work, but I realize many do.… If you are one who is anxious about any kind of dental work, please consider an appointment with Dr. Lin. He is very conscientious and considerate of his patients. You may think it strange, but I have actually really enjoyed every visit to his office…. surgeries and all! If you see Dr. Lin at his Annandale office, his receptionist, Keisha, is outstanding, as is the surgical aide… very sweet. Bonus!!
