Dr. Thomas Joseph Lischwe, MD

According to my charts, I found I had a Triglyceride level of 710 when I left his practice. I left due to an ongoing problem with his Nurse who would not return my phone calls. She had some gripe about me which she never enlightened me about her problem. I went to a new doctor and found out that 710 was stroke level!!!! Lischwe did nothing at all to bring this down when he knew my level. He also did not do regular check-ups on my Cholesterel counts. In ten years I might have had 3 tests. I also have Fibromyalgia which he prescribed Fentanyl. I am now am at a Pain Management Clinic and they were in shocked that he would use Fentanyl on me! They said I should have been constantly monitored by a pain specialist. He also failed to refill my pain meds. as I was leaving his medical care, leaving me to go cold-turkey off the Fentanyl, also when I was trying Hydromorphone, he also lagged in refilling my painkillers and I went into a withdrawal with that and had to wait to see him… until he was in the office. I also went into withdrawal without medication as I tried to find a pain management center. These was a harrowing experiences and the second withdrawal experience I tried three times to call him to ask him to give me something while I was finding a doctor and he just had his NP call me and say, "You can't have anything!' as I was going into convulsions and hallucinations, and wide=spread agony off of the potent Fentanyl. The best thing that ever happened to me was to leave his practice. It probably saved my life, I know it saved my life. This guy is a quack.

Have been a patient of Dr. Lischwe for several years. He is, by far, the best doctor I have ever had, and the only one I've ever gone to that takes the time to really LISTEN. I have never felt rushed when I'm there. I think he chose the medical profession for all the right reasons - he seems genuinely compassionate and concerned for the welfare of his patients. He considers the long term treatment/solution and not just a quick fix to the problem. He is a credit to the profession. It's not always easy getting an appointment, but that's because he's in demand.

My whole family (ranging in ages from 2 to 42) sees Dr. Lischwe and we have nothing but good things to say about him. I recommend him all the time. He takes the time to really listen to you and you can tell that he cares deeply about his patients. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Lischwe is kind, thoughtful, through, listens and hears his patients needs, appropriate testing. He truly cares about his patients and does not rush you out the door. He has taken care of our family for years. I have recommended him to friends and family.

Likes to prescribe drugs, both OTC and prescription. Often these are the wrong ones - like 4x Aleve per day virtually forever. No feedback path to the doc and followup from the office is very poor. Often several calls and messages over several days were not returned.
