Dr. Thomas Charles Lobur, MD

I've had a few traumatic experiences with doctors so anytime I'm going in to see a new provider I have a bit of apprehension. What will they be like? Will I feel belittled? Will they ignore my experiences, write off my concerns? Within moments of meeting Dr. Lobur I was put at ease. He's kind, knowledgeable, and strikes me as a remarkably empathetic person. Maybe he knew what kind of vibe I needed, maybe he's just the coolest psychiatrist I've met. He wasn't afraid to let me set the tone for our appointment. I will always prefer a doctor whose easygoing nature has me leaving an appointment feeling relaxed. I'm sure that some people want or need a no-nonsense psychiatrist, but I really enjoy that he's personable, unpretentious, and (perhaps most importantly) human. Anyway, the last thing I expected going into my appointment was a pleasant experience. I walked out feeling grateful to have been referred to him. Highly recommend.

Dr Lobur is negligent with meds and with certain meds that have long lasting effects if taken for a long time. He just wants to push tons of meds onto people, and has no empathy for anyone. He literally sits there talking way too much not letting you speak. It is boring and he is just a deceptive jerk. Rude and mean and so is his secretary, rude and disrespectful to patients.

Poor bedside manner and does not respect the HIPPA policy!
