Dr. Thomas Joseph Lydon, MD

"This guy is a "piece of work"! Condescending, dismissive, rude and disingenuous. I went to Wentworth Douglas emergency in Dover, NH where I had a CAT scan that identified a small kidney stone. This guy showed up, said that there was no kidney stone immediately after two of the nurses working with me had told me that the CAT scan had picked-up a small stone. He was there for about 3 minutes, where he managed to insulted my wife, said "no stone" then left and we never saw him again. We were there for two hours. His license, or what ever he has to work should be revoked! Rated zero stars! Don't let him near you, or anyone else! Don't believe a single word from him."

Saw him in the ER at WD in Dover. He was flippant, didn't listen to my concerns, didn't address my reason for being there and barely spoke to me for a full minute.

This man had social services in our hospital room for and I quote “not knowing who MY sons mother was”. I was asked all kinds of questions after leaving work to bring my four year old in for low oxygen and RSV. I won’t come back here again. You should be ashamed and should not be allowed to work with children.

Less then friendly no one introduced themselves no identiifing badges almost if they were embarrassed to work there very curt and defensive when asked a question. No explanation what happened to informed consent?

Care was fine until it came time to close the 1” gash in my scalp. Without any real discussion I f the procedure and with NO pain medication of ANY KIND, he used two staples into my scalp. In all my life, I NEVER experienced the level of pain this caused. Everyone in the room left. I could not stop screaming because of the pain. My wife was present. She was aghast. When Dr. Lydonsought to continue, he first deadened the remaining gash with with an agent and Placed three stitches to the gash. I have never in my life experienced the level of pain as I got from the undeadened staple application. I still can’t believe that that procedure is considered “standard/normal” procedure at WDH. I got no more than a raised eyebrow from Dr. Lydon at my reaction to his actions. He will never again be allowed to perform any medical procedure on me.

After waiting over 2 hours for test results, he spent less than 5 minutes with us, then answered his phone mid conversation, walked off, and never came back! He was rude and unprofessional.
