Dr. Lyons is a Top Notch Specialist who has treated my shoulder subsequent to an accident. He listens well and takes time explaining all options. Informs you of the pros & cons of each possibility. Leaving you feeling confident you are in good hands. Ultimately, it is up to you to make a well informed decision about your health and future. Coincidentally, I have a good friend who seen him for his knee and had surgery with outstanding results. The entire process from beginning to end was exactly how he explained. Whether it be an Exam, Diagnosis, surgery, or some rehab & maintenance this is the Dr. to see. All in all, this man is an Expert in his Field.

I had crushed my R shoulder several years previously by crashing my bicycle on the Press Street railroad tracks. Was not given much hope by the Saints surgeon. After years in pain was operated on arthroscopically by Dr Lyons and several years later no pain and repair still intact in spite of careful weight training with total gym type traing on a device made by Bayou Fitness. Only problem is having no control throwing a ball but who cares??? Not me!!! So nice to have no pain and a useable arm thanks to Dr Lyons. Do not remember the name of the young female PT but she was wonderful as was her husband and all of the other PTs who worked there. As a physician I definitely recommend these professionals. Also would recommend as a patient try to make your repair last by not doing stupid risky activities that might jeopardize your repair . Good luck!!!

I am a regular patient and when my knee started hurting real bad and I could not walk. I called to get an appointment and was told I could not see the doctor. I could not walk, I was in severe pain, and was told could not get in to see the doctor. THIS IS OUTRAGIOUS!!!
