Dr. Thomas H Lyster, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Lysters for at least 20 years. I always recommend him to friends seeking an excellent GP or family doctor. He is thorough in his work, very personable and his team provides good patient service.

Dr Lyster is blessed with a special gift. I have been going from doctor to doctor to figure out my problem. I was told my issue required surgery. I am scared to death of surgery. My friend from the tennis club made the recommendation that I see him before I consider surgery. . I am so happy she did. It didn’t take long for Dr Lyster to figure out my problem, treat it and having me back to my active self after 5 years of being absolutely miserable. Dr Lyster is not your conventional doctor. He dresses in jeans, talks so you can understand, straight shooter, doesn’t sugar coat anything, is compassionate and caring. We need more docs like him in this world. I’m glad he’s teaching the future doctors of this world. They need a solid role model. !!! Dr L is the best ! Thank you Dr Lyster. I appreciate all you have done for me.

Dr. Lyster has been treating my Dad since they moved back here from out of state. He has been great. The office always make time for him and has been very helpful with trying to fill out forms for my Mom. I agree the doctor has a sense of humor and gives it to you straight in words you can undertand. I would recommend his office to anyone looking for a doctor.

I have been with Dr. Lyster for years. When you call his office and have a problem they will get you in the same day. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They all go out of their way to make your experience a good one. There is also a bilingual nurse who takes her time with the patients who speak Spanish. Dr. Lyster is an osteopathic doctor and does practice osteopathic medicine. Sadly, many of the DO's no longer practice osteopathic medicine. It took me awhile to find a practing DO. I am happy I found him years ago. I had back pain years ago and had an adjustment that has kept me painfree since. He is truly gifted. Dr. Lyster is compassionate and caring. He talks to you so that you understand. He doesn't talk above your head. I guess that comes from working in the oil field. The doctor was a petroleum engineer before becoming a doctor. He gives it to you straight. Treats you like you were a relative (that he likes! ha ha).He gives you the time you need so that you can have… all your questions answered and come away more knowledegable about your problem. Dr. Lyster has a terrific sense of humor too. I saw him Coaching a soccer team. When I asked about it he said that he donates his time and enjoys the sport. I believe he is affiliated with St. Luke's.Dr. Lyster and his staff are awesome!They all deserve an A+.They treat you like family and I like that,people that care about me and my health.
