Dr. Thomas Christopher Maffett

After dental school he lived in Murrells Inlet, SC and practiced dentistry in the Grand Strand area for the next 4 years.  During this time Dr. Maffett had the opportunity to participate in several medical mission trips to Honduras.  These trips had a huge impact on Dr. Maffett and helped shape him into the wonderful, caring dentist he is today.
Dr. Maffett fell in love with the Charleston area while in dental school and knew in his heart that Charleston is where he wanted to be.  So, in 2003 Dr. Maffett moved to James Island and opened his own dental office.
Dr. Maffett and his wife Frankie, a dental hygienist, both work in the office every day.  They take pride in the practice they have built and truly care about their family of patients.
Dr. Maffett and Frankie live on James Island with their 2 wonderful sons, David and Harrison.  They have 2 dogs (boxers) named Tess and Cooper.  In their spare time they enjoy going to the beach, surfing, fishing and boating.
