Dr. Thomas Michael Matelic, MD

Dr.Matelic is not personable, and don’t empathize at all during a hard time such as a acl recovery. He is hard to reach from the stand point of a patient, as well as a physical therapist and is never on the same page as my physical therapist. Never dives into what my recovery looks like and treats me like another surgery rather than an individual person and my own recovery. Half the time he doesn’t even assess my knee.

Very helpful and thorough! Dr Matelic has helped me with multiple issues with professionalism, and a very personal manner. I can’t say enough about how O have benefitted in my recovery because of him and his office!

Dr Matelic is a very good surgeon. I have had two knee replacement’s by him. I highly recommend him if you need a knee replacement or knee surgery. I am very happy with my results!

Had very bad shoulder and DR replaced it. Had very little pain after. Did all recommend therapy and was back to playing tennis in 16 weeks. It been a year now and X-ray shows the new shoulder to be in great ship.

Dr Matelic took time to listen to a complete history of my chronic knee problem. Excellent assessment of my problematic knee and MRI scans. He set out the options and explained the options and the expectations of surgical treatment with a range of outcomes and return to activity.
