Both this doctor and nurse are excellent. Dr. Math has been exceptional.

Dr. Math is a exceptional doctor. He is kind. He explains clearly. He answers questions thoroughly. I believe he is very caring.

Dr. Math consulted with my mother in the hospital because she was dealing with chronic c. Diff. She had been treated for 2 months with vanco and it wouldn't go ahead & then come back worse upon completing the course. Dr. Math wouldn't honor our wishes to try another med, a higher level treatment for c. Diff, because it was more expensive. He refused to change the prescription. Needless to say, here we are back in the ER with c. Diff a few weeks after discharge. Thanks for nothing, Dr. Math.

He didn't listen. Did not review my charts before talking to me. First time this ever happened. Skipped all over my history information.

Referred to Dr. Math by primary provider, a late Fri afternoon appt, waited 20 mins, then rushed through appt as if this was the time he chose to "catch up". Little to near-no discussion, very brief and vague explanations, no time to even think of questions, overall feeling of "hurry, hurry, hurry". Later contact via dr/patient communication portal was the same; answers not specific to questions left me feeling frustrated, insignificant and dismissed. After two attempts to get a more specific answer, I gave up and went looking to other providers for answers related to my appt with Dr Math. If there were more choices of infectious disease specialists in my rural area, I would not choose go back to Dr. Math. Hopefully, the need won't come up again.

Ive seen multiple Drs. In the last few years and Dr. Thomas Math is by far my # 1. He is a great listener, explains things well so one knows whats going ! Professional, knowledgeable and the best doc!!
