Dr. Thomas Roland Maycock, MD

A segment of my family, of the old school doctors know all mindset, were/are under this doctor's "care". My great grandmother died from a disease easily detected by routine screenings that weren't done. My grandmother was repeatedly mis-diagnosed, over and under medicated, plain not treated until this past spring when Dr. Maycock put her on a med cocktail that sent her into organ failure. By the time we convinced her to see an ER doctor, it was too late for them to save her and she passed away. Medical staff were appalled by the "care" of this doctor. Now my grandfather is the latest victim. Despite being high risk, family history, and over 65 this quack never ordered a colonoscopy, saying manual rectal exams are good enough. He sees this doctor @least monthly. 3 days ago he went to the ER; staff were horrified to learn the total lack of treatment & routine care, & immediately ordered the tests. He has a large cancerous tumor that has spread throughout his system, that should have… been detected YEARS ago & would have been if the routine screenings doctors KNOW are supposed to be done were ordered. Yet another loved one suffering needlessly. Please, please do not place yourself at this doctor's hands.
