Dr. Thomas J. Mccormack, MD

He may be all that they say he is and he truly was when we went to him for a total knee replacement but since then after six months of pain and suffering my wife took me to an appointment we were only there a hot second before he checked out my knee and told me to working harder and I don’t need pain pills my wife tried to tell him that since the surgery the only way I could walk was with a walker in front of him that’s when he replied in a nasty angry voice well all right bring him back in a year and left . I told my wife he seem to be angry because I was messing up his record as a top ranking Doctor. So as we were leaving the nurse came in and said where’s the doctor we said he left already told us to come back in a year . So much for the good rating for this doctor maybe he is good but when complications come up he wants nothing to do with that patient and in my book that’s a no-good doctor and should be banned from dealing with people. End result I’m still got to use a walker to… get around.

THREE surgeries; 2 shoulders, 1 knee; and Dr. McCormack has led me to believe (confidently!) that the surgery will be no problem. 3 surgeries later... anything but. I’m convinced he can’t read MRI’s... the last one was a knee surgery. No problem he he says just before a “meniscus tear” suegery. “I’ll be walking with a limp for a couple days and just fine within a week”. BUT, following the surgery, it turns out that my cartilage was “shredded”, he said. He said. Had he known it was that bad, they would of done a partial knee replacement instead. So, Instead of a slight limp... I can’t drive for 30 days! My rotator cuff shoulder surgery; just 60 days prior was “surprisingly more difficult than expected” as well. As they say in Baseball... 3 strikes and you’re out. If you like to be over-promised and under delivered, then Dr. McCormack’s your doctor.

From the time of my first visit until my first hip replacement and two months later my second hip replacement I couldn't have been more satisfied and happy with the professionalism and care I was given by Dr. McCormack and his Staff. I have been able to do things that I hadn't done in years. I would say that my life now after two years looks promising and capable of doing anything I would want to do in life. I promise you that you won't find a finer surgeon to take care of your needs.

I had a severe injury and Dr. McCormack has worked with me over the years to help me be the most independent I can. Most people don't realize the limitations I do have. He has been with me through multiple surgeries and lots of pain. He is the only person I recommend to others!

Dr McCormack is tops in his field, excellent care and excellent skills in surgery! I have had him do surgery on me and also know of 3 friends and a family member he has done surgery for. Could not speak highly enough of him or his knowledge and skills not to mention the excellent one on one time he takes with his patients. Very caring, very professional and excellent staff also! Once I had my surgery I went to rehab and they mentioned how good my procedure turned out, they asked who performed the surgery and I told them Dr McCormack, they said that he could work magic in the operating room and they have never heard anything negative on him!
