I was in so much pain from a simple procedure as a Vasectomy. Very archaic method, poor customer service from group. I wrote a review on google along with reading poor reviews that I wish I had read but they soon disappeared. He should not be practicing.

I went to him with a problem. I had lots of blood in my urine. My family doctor referred me to him. He tested me and said there was none. Went to the hospital and was told I had blood in my urine! Will never go there again! Poor health care!!!!

Dr. McKay is by far the worst urologist I have ever been to. I had an incident recently where I had to contact him after hours and he was about as insensitive and arrogant as he could be. He didn't ask any questions about my symptoms, but rather told me to "Go to the emergency room if you are in pain". Unbelievable!

Doctor was literally offended by me asking problems about my diagnosis

My experiences with Dr T. McKay were horrible. He has NO idea what a Doctor/Patient relationship should consist of. He is full of himself & arrogent. He has NO time to listen to his patient, only talks about himself and what he knows. It's his way or NO way & according to him, any Dr. who disagreas with him is a liar....his own words. I will NEVER step back in his office & will warn others of his attitude toward his patients and other doctors.

Dr. McKay is a partner to the urologist I usually see. H failed to either listen to my problem or to accurately read my chart. He repeatedly said "Your surgery was just 3 days ago." (It was 11 days ago, and the symptoms he was disimssing would indeed be normal if I were 3 days post-surgical but were neither normal and were seriously reducing my quality of life at almost 2 weeks post-surgery. When I asked him to work together with my Primary Care phyician as I hae multiple conditions which complicate the care of my urological cancer he flatly refused. He clearly felt my primary care was not as competent as he was.I found him arrogant and unwilling to listen to my concerns and seemingly uncaring about either my physical or emotional pain concerning my cancer diagnosis, despite it's fairly poor prognosis. I would not recommend him too anyone.
