Dr. Thomas Leroy Mcknight, MD

Dr McKnight is a wonderful doctor. He is very thorough and has awesome bedside manner. He works tirelessly even after hours to be sure you are taken care of. He listens to concerns and explains so that I can understand. I have never seen a more caring doctor that will work until he finds the issue. If he is not able he will get you to the right people that can help and he still follows up. His staff was always efficient and helped answer any questions that I had. I was so sad to learn that he would be retiring. It will be hard to find another provider with the same compassion, caring and devoted mannerism as Dr McKnight.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr Mcknight for my family doctor and when I tell other specialists they ALWAYS express the same sentiments. He takes the time to listen and actually hears what you are saying. He is such a caring doctor and man. He pays attention to every detail and is thorough in his analysis and testing. I can not recommend a doctor any higher than Dr Thomas Mcknight.

Dr. McKnight is an excellent doctor. He is caring, compassionate, takes the time to really get to know his patients and is available for me when needed even between appointments. He uses my patient portal, text messages and phone to communicate at various times. For example, when I was in the hospital he communicated with my hospitalist and with me daily by phone which made him very much a part of my treatment. Another time he called just hours after I had blood work done for another doctor. He was monitoring patient portals at 7:00 PM in his office when he saw on the lab report that there was a drop in my potassium level. He called me right away and came up with a plan to take care of the problem without even asking me to come in for an appointment. The patient portal that he has set up for me connects information with all my other doctors so my health record is updated and available to him at all times. I, also, really like his emphasis on preventative medicine. I know that I am… enjoying better quality go life under his care than I was before becoming his patient. Furthermore, it is a pleasure to visit his office because his office staff is efficient , friendly and highly qualified. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. McKnight as my primary doctor.

Dr.McKnight and his team provide caring, comprehensive, continuous, careful, meticulous, informed and mindful care for each and every patient. Dr. McKnight is an outstanding and surpassing standout with integrity and brilliance. Mrs.McKnight accompanies her husband in the clinic providing continuous and informed administrative skills which enhance and enlighten the completeness of the support for the patients and staff. This leaves her husband free to provide scrupulous, attentive, meticulous, and informed care. One is fortunate to be a patient receiving services at this clinic.

Dr. McKnight is always responsive to our concerns. He always goes out of his way to make sure that we are heard and helped. We particularly are pleased with his view on prevention and whole health.

Thorough and professional. Dr. McKnight always answers my questions so I can understand them. His follow-up care is exceptional; calling me about lab and other tests results before I even have a chance to check the portal website. I leave his office with answers and peace of mind.

For twenty years I represented Physicians and hospitals in another state. I worked closely with greatest and not-so-great physicians , nurses and other health care providers. In that capacity I like to think that I acquired a special skill in evaluating and grading the degree of professionalism individual physicians possess. So when my wife and I moved to Niceville, FL two years ago, I knew what to look for and thankfully we found it in Dr. McKnight. He has always given us the latest medical science information and helped interpret that for our individual needs and long term survival. An added plus is his emphasis in Preventive Health. His communication is never rushed, always clear, honest and understanding of our personal needs. When we had a special need to see him without an appointment he has always been gracious and generous to accommodate us. His honesty , integrity and professionalism are plain to see in everything he does and says. Dr. McKnight truly cares about us as… patients and as people. In my opinion, of all the Physicians I have known, both personally and professionally, Dr. McKnight ranks at the top of the profession.

Dr. McKnight has been my personal physician for many years. It is not a casual, professional relationship for me and I suspect it is not that way for many of his patients. I mean that his relationships are personal, pro-active, dedicated, results-driven patient relationships. He is firm and specific with advice on how to improve my health and quality of life and gentle and encouraging when I fall short on those efforts between appointments. He is a fierce advocate for me when I need his help....I know from experience that he pushes himself relentlessly to keep abreast of new medical news and information. Dr. McKnight is a 24/7 professional physician.

Dr. Mcknight is one of the finest doctors in our area. We are lucky to have this capable, smart, intuitive physician. He really cares about his patients and always goes that extra step to insure their treatment and well-being. I highly recommend him.

I was very moved with Dr McNight's care and compassion after receiving a several follow-up calls about my progress. I've never received a call like that before. His bed side manner is excellent and he spends time to explain in detail. I never felt rushed. His staff is attentive and friendly. I have found a life-time doctor.
