I was referred to Dr. Mehlhoff by another physician to examine my painful wrist and hands. He sat down and reviewed the x-rays with me. His sincerity and kindness was evident in his words and mannerisms. He first said that my aches would not require surgery, for which I was grateful. He demonstrated hand strengthening exercises and then closely watched as I tried to mimic them, and if I ever do need hand surgery, he will be my first choice. If I’m asked to recommend an orthopedic surgeon, I will give a glowing recommendation for him and for his excellent staff.
