Thomas J. Miller, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Thomas J. Miller (Dr. Sr.) is a native of Columbus, Ohio and graduate of  St. Charles Preparatory High School.  He went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Xavier University and earned his dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.  In addition he served in the United States Army Dental Corp, stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center . Dr. Miller practiced general dentistry on the North side of Columbus for 6 years and then returned to OSU and earned his Master’s Degree and Certificate of Periodontology. He again went into private practice specializing in Periodontics and oral diagnosis.  Furthermore, a great deal of Dr. Miller’s training emphasized treatment of Temporomandibular Joint disorders, including TMD, which focuses more on muscular disorders due to clenching and grinding. Dr. Miller is a graduate of the esteemed Pankey Institute of Coral Gables, Florida. He is a member of the McHorris …Occlusal Studies Program.
Dr. Miller is a former President of the Columbus Dental Society, Columbus Academy of Periodontology and Central Ohio Academy of Practice Administration. He is also a member of the Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of Periodontology, Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He served and chaired many committees promoting organized dentistry during the 1970’s and 1980’s. He retired as Assistant Clinical Professor with Emeritus status.
