Dr. Thomas Tin Shun Ng, MD

I have a high-level of confidence in him because he is so confident in himself and his abilities. I had a sizable, non-malignant tumor removed from behind my sternum. Recovery has been quick and pain-free.

Dr Ng is the absolute best!

While DR. NG isn't the best conversationist I have ever met, he does in fact know his profession and does his job extremely well. After having been diagnosed with lung cancer I did my research and decided to go with Dr. NG and it urned out to be the best decision I ever made. He is phenomenal! I knew I was in good hands when I was being prepped for surgery at 6am when out of nowhere I hear this guy singing walking down the hospital corridor. As he walk by, I looked and low and behold it was Dr. NG. He was smiling and ready to go to work. Thank you Dr. NG for the great job you did on my lung surgery and I wish you good luck in the future as I have been made aware you are leaving the practice in Providence.

I am so grateful to have found Dr Thomas Ng. He is not only an excellent thoracic surgeon, but is extremely diligent about his concern and care.Pre surgery he would call me after his work hours and see how I was doing and to keep me informed about the details of my pending surgery. He performed a very successful robotic surgery to remove my thymus gland. I am so grateful!

You could not ask for a better surgeon. If you need lung surgery, he is the one you want!

My daughter had a 4 day stay in the hospital, Dr. Ng was her surgeon. He gave very little input before the emergency surgery, no follow up with pain meds, no communication, only saw him in the hospital once. Follow up visit waited 2+ hours in the waiting room. Could give no clear reason for what had happened, had no remarks or apology for lack of proper pain management or hospital miscommunication. He may be a brilliant surgeon, and he's very nice personality wise, but no helpful diagnosis or remarks.

I would recommend Dr. Ng - he is the best surgeon!!!!

Well after surgery he does'nt think he should give any pain meds, he does surgery and then tells you if your in pain and then he says you should'nt be in paon and thats it.he won't call you back.and before sygery he walks in and doesn't say anything about what's gonna go on or how long you should expect to be laid up.
