I have never been to a doctor I trusted more. Although I had problems making the 1st appointment - had to actually visit the office to make it, that is my only complaint. I was extremely worried about my condition (cervical stenosis) but Dr Norton's clear explanation, of the problem and treatment, calmed my fears. His diagnosis agreed with another neurosurgeon that I saw, but his choice of ACDF was much more to my liking than corpectomy or laminectomy. From all my reading it seems like the most up-to-date method and the least problems in recovering. I was in the hospital only overnight and never had a single restriction. I was able to do my half hour on the treadmill the next day. Recovery has been a piece of cake - a little sore throat, a little trouble swallowing. Every step has been exactly as Dr Norton told me on my 1st visit. And no need for any physical therapy.
