Long waiting time even with advanced appointment

I have been with him for over a year. He's efficient, prompt,courteous and has a great sense of humor. Got me hooked up with the specialists I needed quickly.

From the beginning I was appalled at the lack of professionalism but I don't get many local choices on my medical plan so I decided to keep my mouth shut and deal with the problems. It took more than 45 days to get a scheduled appointment! Then when I did show up for my appointment, they wanted me to wait an additional hour and a half to be seen. They promised me a form filled out by the next day, then said I could only have it once I paid the $10 fee they "forgot" to tell me about. I paid the fee and they made a mess of the form and filled it out wrong. The front office receptionist brings her three children under the age of 5 with her on a regular basis because she has childcare issues. She is so incapable of doing her job that they have another front office nurse sitting beside her who behaves like she is sitting on her ghetto front porch talking trash with the other eyeliner queens. Then there is the back office staff... wow. The place is run by this big mexican guy named Eric.… When he isn't leaning back in an office chair with his feet on the desk, he is being generally self-important and rude to his staff and patients. As an exception, Douglas was fairly kind and knowledgeable. The two PAs I was treated by gave me no instructions on my prescription and didn't include instructions to the pharmacist so I began at full strength instead of working my way up to a full strength dose. This made me very sick and made me miss work. They offered to write a note for me, then refused after the actual Doctor told them not to for some reason unknown. They were kind but very new at their job. The actual doctor here is a white, english-speaking guy but he thinks he is more of a stand up comedian than an actual physician... which may be why his office is run more like comedy central than a doctor's office. As I'm sitting in the lobby waiting for my most recent appointment, I overheard them call in prescriptions for two of my friends who were seen in the office the last few days. I know that is a HIPPA violation but they don't seem to care about pesky health information protection laws like that.... they are way too busy running around this cramped little space, continuously cracking jokes while stacking endless patient files in public areas and pretending to be an actual medical facility. I cannot believe this facility is still operating without any penalties... shocked really. Anyone else have an experience like this?

Dr. Oliveira is corteous, fast, and helpful. He is so easy to talk to and really a great helpful doctor. My entire family goes to him.
