Dr. Thomas Russell Olmsted, MD

Dr. Olmsted was a wonderful doctor who helped me tremendously. No sarcasm there. However, I paid this man for YEARS to be my therapist. Then, one day I was waiting on him in a video session (Covid) and he never showed up. Reception finally told me that he had decided to retire. I paid this man a fortune and went to him for years and he just left me sitting there with no explanation. He never apologized. He never reached out to me. I got the form letter saying he was retiring. It was the biggest slap in the face I have ever experienced. I don't suppose it matters now but at least I can finally have my say.

Full disclosure, this was from 25 years ago, but w/o Dr. Olmsted, I would not be writing this. Caring, and was able to zero in on what worked for me. I had gone through several therapists prior to Dr Olmsted. I still rely on words he told me back then to get me through tough times. I hope these negative reviews reflect more on the patients, than the healer. God bless...

Very cocky, likes to belittle clients.

Dr. Olmsted is okay, but I get the feeling from him that he's really not into what he's doing. It's almost like his going through the motions. His office hours are unpredictable too. If you need a prescription refilled it's sometimes a challenge to get them to mail it or call it in. They also close without letting their patients know. How difficult could it be to send out a letter a week in advance?

This guy is weird! He plans an hour each day to take a nap and can't do it without his blankie! One of the nurses he has worked with told me. I knew he was weird, but this is outrageous. He needs more help than he can provide.

After first visit, I thought I was truly on the road to getting better. Then, because of this terrible dr. I was cast off like a pirhya. He accused me of being someone I'm not and was a grade A A$$HOLE! He could care less about helping his patients, even when they're truly suffering. I would never suggest seeing this guy, as he'll only take your money and leave you feeling worse than when you came in the first time. To boot, he has the personality of a still life photograph.

I believe Dr. Olmstead knows his stuff. However, he does not have a very good personality, nor a good bedside manner. I've been going to him for three years and don't think I've ever seen him smile.
