Dr. Thomas Michael Omeara, MD

This guy was my primary at the VA and he is low iq. Every query was answered with "I dunno". No attempt to diagnose or discussanything. Every visit was tense and uncomfortable. He has no communication skills whatsoever So I discovered he diagnosed me with "Malingering". He always had an attitude with me and that puzzled me. Later I find out he was mad because I wouldn't call him Doctor. I called him Doc and that was a stretch. I recommend potential patients to avoid him due to his disrespectful and unprofessional conduct

Another poster was correct in that he listens to himself instead of the patient. He will talk to you about trains and had a special â??train roomâ?? he is most excited about. I signed on there to see another dr but was told you have to see other doctors until she will accept you as a patient. Had I known what I was in store for, I would have NEVER stepped foot in the office. I filed complaints with the Regional Health group and was offered a visit with another doctor. OMG.....

Omeara fails to listen to anything but himself when it comes to what the patient has to say.

Dr.Omera has been great to my family in the past 3 years. plus he has some great stafff. I always treated like family when i go there. He has treated me my hubsband and my 2 kids. We had to move but our family was so attacted to Dr.Omera my 4 yr ask him to move with us. He is a great person and takes the time to explain everything to you! Thanks Again Dr. Omera for being such a professional and all around a great person to work with! We will miss you!
