My wife and I did our own research and after we found out more. We definitely found out that there were many inaccurate statements made and we were glad to get treatment out of town. We also got the chart and found several mistakes in the dictation of our visits. Now if it was just one person there then maybe it could be chalked up to memory but we both responded after reading the chart with "what meeting was he at?" We also found 2 incorrect dates and still have the cards to prove that those dates of services were inaccurate as well as the insurance claims that match the date of appointment cards. Too many big NO_NO's. Got great treatment elsewhere and no problem with answers to questions. Matched all the research that we had done. Including was asked " why was "(this)" not done"!!!

The doctor showed himself to be quite knowledgeable. Explained many things to my wife and me. Performed cryosurgery.He and his staff made sure we understood what they were doing and what we should do. Affable and friendly but not a hand-holder. He assumes if you have prostate cancer you must be an adult. My recovery is going very well so far, but if not I don't know what else he could have done. Recommended.

We came with questions after being told it was okay by physicians assistant that it was okay to wait to do anything. After got the actual numbers of results over last 2 years, found out that both were incompetent. Assistant did not recommend procedures as should have and Dr. did not know current treatment procedures that were possible and did not want to address any questions. When went to another Dr. questions did not even have to be asked but instead were addressed then asked why things were waited to be done!!! It was not our choice. RUN don't walk to another opinion and treatment.!

Does not want to answer questions. I came with some questions about my situation and was not willing to answer them. Went to another doctor and he addressed those questions without even being asked. Suggested options were much better explained as well as what is most current!! Agree with previous person about retirement needed.

Get your records and review them!!! Our records had wrong dates as well as mis information!!!! We also had problems with double billing of insurance! Insurance company even said they could not bill us twice for some of what they tried to bill us for.

during talks did not want to answer some questions---also was inaccurate in his statements about available procedures but stated all were the same. Okay to use for a simple urinary tract infection but anything else or continued problems ---- seek treatment elsewhere and question any doctor that does not want to answer questions!!!!! I agree with the idea that seems very interested in padding own pockets. Does talk alot about things off topic especially family! Maybe he should just retire?

Talks alot but no follow through! Talks also alot about non-topic things. Spent 2 hours but alot about his interests and experiences such as trips. Told had to do lots of things but then never gave information on these things. Likes to do a lot in his office to make more money.

Love this doctor! My son had surgery and Dr. Patterson used a dry erase board to give us a visual on just how the surgery would be performed. I have never spent that amount of time with a doctor in an exam room and felt assured that he had the best interest of my son and me in mind at all times. Communication was key and this doc is a pro! Things went beautifully. My son and I are most thankful to this dedicated professional!

Perhaps the best bedside manner I've ever experienced. Knowledgeable, explained things well, spent a great deal of time with me.

Took 2 hours on Sunday afternoon to talk with me and my family. I was made aware of everything that was going to happen to me from biopsies thru surgery. There were thorough exams and questions for me to answer after surgery, every 3 months for the first year. I am now on a 1 year schedule.
