Dr. Thomas Eugene Penn, MD

I was a dialysis patient in 2000 and Dr. Penn did my fistula in my right arm. During my dialysis treatment my nurse caused my fistula to clot up after treatment. She pushed the needle to hard in my arm it created a hematoma. Later on that day I notice a big bump in the site. It got so big I needed immediately surgery. Dr. Penn was on off that day. This great doctor came to the hospital and operated on me on his day off.

When I first met Dr. Penn I thought he was a technician, only after he left the room did the tech tell me how lucky I was that Dr. Penn was at the lab location at that time - he was wonderful. I started out with another surgeon and after a 2 hour wait, being passed off on a PA and a cancelled appointment I had enough and told my PCP I needed another surgeon and remembered Dr. Penn at the lab. He has performed two major vascular surgeries on me and was always accessible, genuine and took time to answer all my questions - I have highly recommended him to others and I wouldn't go to any other vascular surgeon. His staff is excellent!!
