Dr. Thomas Ralph Pohlman, MD

Dr Pohlman performed a urine test on my Mother and it showed she had a uti.The urine test was never read and acted upon.She should of immediately been put on antibiotics but was never even given the results of lab test.She died of septic shock in St Lukes hospital because of an untreated uti by Dr Pohlman. He also has horrible bedside manners. Never even gave his condolences.He just slipped out a back door as she was being wheeled into the ICU ward to die within hours.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Pohlmann for approximately 4 years. My family feels strongly she is alive today because of him. He is her Nephrologist but also oversees every aspect of her health. He is the most knowledgeable, thorough, caring doctor we've ever met. Sometimes we wait to see him, but it is only due to all of these qualities. He never makes a patient feel he is rushed. I HIGHLY recommend him. His staff, especially the receptionist and his assistant, Mary Ann, are terrific.
