Dr. Thomas John Redington, MD

Dr. Redington is a wonderful and talented physician and has served my family and me for many years.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. REDINGTON!!!! Terrible experience with Dr. Redington. My parents had been seeing Dr. Redington as their family physician. Although they had not seen him through COVID as a precaution (they were healthy). They were in a head on collision, the ER & Trauma team sent all their records to Dr. Redington. I called to have a follow up as the ER had instructed but Dr. Redington's office said they were not able to see him because they had not been seen though COVID. I asked nicely if there was any way they could get in and the office said they would ask Dr. Redington. They called back within 40 minutes and said Dr. Redington would not see either of them. I am not sure what type of service he or the office provides. I would love to have a conversation with Dr. Redington or the office manager to better understand why you would deny previously seen patients that have had their ER records sent and on top of that other records from other doctors they have seen… recently. I would NOT recommend Dr. Redington if you are looking for a doctor that cares or provides respect to their patients.

I needed my yearly blood work and he said I had to come in for an appointment for a wellness check and when I advised him (several years ago) that we (husband and myself) get a full wellness check from Humana in our home every year he asked me "why would they do that?" anyway when I called this time and said I just need my blood test and really don't need the appt, they didn't call me back but then I called back two days later and find that he dismissed me from his practice! He didn't bother to call me and talk with me about this, just dismissed me. Thank goodness I can now go to a much better doctor who actually is concerned about his patient.

Front office women are very rude and unprofessional. Phone skills are very poor. Dr. Redington needs to replace his staff.

HE IS LIKE A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH EVERY TIME YOU GO TO SEE HIM HE IS SO NICE HE TREATS ME LIKE I AM SOME ONE HE IS READY TO HELP. BEING A SENIOR I LIKE TO SEE THE RESPECT HE GIVES AGE . IF HE HAS QUESTIONS BELIEVE YOU ME HE WILL GET THE ANSWERS AND HE DOESN'T MIND WHERE HE HAS TO GO TO GET THEM. HE ONLY REFERS YOU TO DOCTORS WHO LIKE HIMSELF HAVE HIGH MORALS AND WORK EFFORT. I CONSIDER HIM TO BE THE BEST DOCTOR AND I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE HIM .

Great doc, practical, experienced, and straight forward.

I usually have difficulty finding a doctor that can relate to my personality and wishes. Now I have and I am totally pleased.

smart, friendly, thoughtful, good listener
