Dr. Thomas Andrew Rennie, MD

Dr Rennie and his office require the last 4 digits of your SS#. They do not need it yet will not take you on as a patient without it. They stated insurance requires it for billing. Insurance doesn't have my SS# and advised not to give it out. Then they said it was to send me to collections for nonpayment should they need to. You do not need a SS# to send someone to collections. Besides, what is the $50 they are asking to book an appointment?

Excellent treatment along with personal understanding. Prompt appointments with no waiting in waiting room. These two people worked diligently to be sure I am on the correct treatment plan. They gave me life again

I dont even know how to explain my personal experience with my illness and Dr. Rennie and his PA Borrego, as my symptoms are progressing we found out I have more than RA, basically I was treated like if I was crazy or like if I’m still making all this up. Everytime I’m in pain I’m told to keep invreasing methyl prednisone. In other words shut and don’t complain. When I or my husband calls for me it seems they do t take me serious in any manner. I’m cutrently on FMLA thanks to my pcp who helped me. Dr Rennies form was a slap to my face in regards my medical flares. Not saying how many time the infussion center has messed me up in cancellation because they didn’t preauth treatment etc. Its very sincerely hard to continue this path I’m fighting against alot of autoimmune diseases to be treated this way. I mean he sees you in person and he is very respectful, i need solutions. Im falling part fast. By neck pain is so bad I was told it was not related to my severe RA or fibromyalgia or… sjogrens and ER doctors say it is. Have been through MRIs CT scans to much already. You can literally see the flare and swelling. Now in the other hand he has an awesome kind MA who is the MA for The PA Borrego. Front desk is d best and very kind people. I believe Dr Rennie is probably burned out with pts complaining all the time of oain etc., but meanwhile Is still his career he is very knowledgeable on his field. I just feel stuck and is hard to change doctors when specialists schedules are super full...

Dr.Renner was down to earth and very thorough during his assessment. I must say, his questions in addition to his evaluation gave me reassurance about my selection process. I have been to two Rheumatologists in CA, he is by far very similar to a UCLA doctor I adored. To each is own, this doctor is wonderful. Go Army

It's taken over one month to get things right between the office and insurance. I am the one doing all the calling. They should pay me instead of the office staff. I feel like no one listens but right now, I can't afford to change doctors.

Listens little to what you say. Lab tech in office tells you the labs they are doing and when you get your "eob" state's different labs were done. He doesn't give his impression of your diagnosis. And does not offer alternative options to medications. Relies solely on lab, xrays - MRI NoT on past history, genetics or subjective symptoms.also sits there and types on computer for electronic data. Inaccurate exam compared to other outstanding rheumatologist I've been to. I leave that office wondering what I wasted my time and insurance for.

I thought he was a wonderful Doctor! He sure nailed my symptoms down right away! He is very good at what he does. I give him 5 stars! I will also recommend him to all my Family and Friends.

Try's to cover all avenues in treating you when it relates to his area of medicine.
