Dr. Thomas Bernard Repas, DO

Been seeing him for several years, I feel comfortable and he listens. I think he is a fabulous physician

I have been seeing Dr. Repas for several years. He recently relocated to Gillette Wy. I thought about it for a long time whether to follow him there and decided that for my health it is worth the drive. So glad I did ,he always listens to my concerns and gives me a very thorough exam. He's the best!

I was so excited to see Dr. Repas as he had such a great reputation in the medical community. My first visit with him went great and I thought I had found some one who could help me. He seemed responsive and offered back and forth discussion with me about my illness. After that visit, his care was horrible. He would not see me for a followup - only saw him once - and he would not listen to my concerns or adjust treatments based on symptoms. He said my issues are not endocrine related, even though I have been diagnosed with an endocrine disorder! I am not impressed and would not see him.

Dr. Repas made 11 mistakes in my records, completely missing my almost 20 year old limp, almost zero range of motion in my hips, and included 2 diagnostic codes that make no sense based on my history or his evaluation...I made a second appointment to correct my records with Dr. Repas and his nurse Tina canceled my appointment sayhing that I am now to deal with the HIPAA Privacy Officer. After I talked to Jenny the HIPAA Privacy Officer I found out Dr. Repas doesn't decide on his own diagnostic codes, he has the coding personnel do this, and therefore he is not responsible for his own diagnotic codes! Red is green and pink is orange at this doctors office. Then I look online at healthgrades.com and find he was sanctioned by the Wyoming medical board and entered a Consent Decree in 2003. Hmmm, Consent Decree in the dictionary means stopping an illegal activity and agreeing to not do it again....think again before keeping an appointment with Dr. Repas.

dr. refuses to do to do telephone follow-up or discuss follow-up matters without making an appointment.follow- up appointments set too far out leaving patient too anxious for information or results.
