Dr. Thomas B. Rivers is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed both his undergrad and his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He then completed residencies in Diagnostic Radiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital and in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical center. Prior to that, he completed an internship in General Surgery at the College of Medicine.
His clinical interests include ACL and revision ACL reconstructions, Arthroscopic management of meniscal tears of the knee, arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, operative management of upper and lower extremity fractures, partial and total knee replacement.

I have seen him twice and both times I was called in as soon as I got there. The first time I got there quite early and I could not believe I was seen so quickly. Everyone was very friendly. When the doctor arrived both times he was very caring and made me feel so at ease and comfortable to speak with him about my knee concerns. He was so attentive and so very knowledgable. He is great!
