Dr. Thomas Michael Rocchio, MD

While looking up Doctor Rocchio’s credentials and information to send to a friend in California (yes he is that amazing that my friend is willing to travel from CA for a consultation based on my recommendation), I came across a 1 star rating and feel the need to explain what a wonderful doctor and and individual Dr. Rocchio truly is. 3 years ago, I had a total ankle replacement performed by Dr. Rocchio. Not only is he probably one of the best surgeons in the country, he is one of the most compassionate doctors I’ve ever been to. He has an amazing bedside manner, treats his patients with dignity and respect, explains all medical conditions and procedures in a way that the patient understands and is just an all around wonderful individual. Before my replacement, I basically could not walk. Dr. Rocchio has truly allowed me to live, rather than exist. I feel that he has given me the gift of walking without extreme pain. I have referred numerous people to him and have never heard one… single negative comment. If you are looking for the best, look no further!

If I could give PA Foot & Ankle Associates no stars I would. I have never been to a doctors office where the staff overbook patients to the point of standing room only. I personally have seen the elderly standing for 30 to 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor in the office. When I finally did have my chance to be seen by the doctor, it was more like I was a piece of meat than a patient. I never went back and would suggest others stay away from this practice as well. There are many, many other podiatrists in the Lehigh Valley who will treat you with more respect.
