Dr. Thomas Anthony Rossi, MD

I literally just met Dr Rossi. He is abrupt. He is focused on correctly diagnosing and isn’t interested in meandering backstory. I tend to meander. He evaluated me. He looked at the MRI ordered, but yet unseen by any doctor. Stated in understandable terms what the radiologist said as well as how his exam supported the MRI. Listed all the options available to me for my condition. Offered Physical Therapy script and Injection pain treatment which I said yes to and explained how that worked. I did not feel rushed. I did not feel that he was condescending. I saw sparks of humor. I felt that he was focused on figuring out my problem rather than chitchat. At least 3 separate times, he asked if I had any questions. He asked if I needed types of meds for sleep, pain, and spasms, which I chose to turn down at this juncture. I didn’t see a pill pusher. He also explained that the recovery process was going to be in conflict with my job which wasn’t something I was thinking… about so he mentioned that some people with similar issues take FMLA. I can’t afford to consider that right now, but no other doctor has ever helped me think about how to keep my job while seeing them. That impressed me.

I think I said it all. Feels like a guys who’s Burt out - Office dingy and dark dusty..looks like workman’s comp pain med shop. Rosssie not worth seeing again

Dr Rossi, greets you with a hand shake, I like that. He questions you on what symptoms you are experiencing. And is knowledgeable on what medication will help your symptoms. I have seen him several months and started having less foot pain. Staff is also friendly. I highly recommend him.

Yes, reviews about personality may be true. But this guy is busy. He knows what he is doing and is a great diagnostician. The tests he has to do are mundane, but he zeroes in on the problem and gets the job done. I hobbled for about a year with excrutiating hip pain. Saw 3 physicians. Then I had an EMG with Dr. Rossi. He told me what was wrong, scheduled me for an epidural, and I am pain free and feel like a new woman. I don't care if he has the manner of a goat, he gets the job done!! I am so greatful! And his nurse Keri, she has to work with him....she is a saint!

Very rude, impersonal. Interrupts when trying to describe symptoms and ask questions. Makes you feel like you are seeking meds when he was specifically told that NO narcotics were desired at all.. Can't say enough GOOD about his nursing staff though!

Dr. Rossi has the personality of a wet sponge. He just sucks the life out of you. Beside manners are terrible, don't really want to listen. One of the worst Doctors I have been with.

Rude. Kept interrupting me after he asked a question. Seemed quite irritated that I did not answer his questions as fast and in the words he wanted. Very rude.

My appointment with him was the worst medical experience I have ever had. He made me feel like the pain I was experiencing was in my head. He was rude and belittling. He interrupted me while I was answering his questions. He also put down the sports med doc that referred me to him. I left his office in tears.

My experience with Dr. Rossi was great. Friendly staff, Dr. Rossi was able to help diagnose my problem and hopefully help them go away.
