He is rude, unprofessional, and uncaring. I would go to anyone above him, his reputation is terrible.

If it wasn't for Dr. Rowell I wouldn't be here right now!

Dr. Rowell is one of THE best psychiatrists I have ever had! It's sad that there are so many negative reviews, yet understood because these reviews obviously come from mentally sick or drug-addicted/seeking patients of his. Don't be fooled by their anger! :)

I trusted Dr. Rowell for quite some time. However, because I did not do what he thought I should do (something I could not do because my insurance did not cover it), he dropped me. Obviously, my abandonment issues were triggered big time and sent me into a deep depression. Flexibility and compassion were definitely lacking.

He was not very helpful or compassionate.

I was disappointed in my meetings with Dr. Rowell. He did not seem to listen to what I said from appointment to appointment or to really care about my situation.

HE genuinely cares, he has the latest information, he's young and wanting to help his paitents, he's not in it just for the money. He's patient and understanding and actually listens not like a lot of others. He's served his country and that tells you a lot about his charachter as well. I couldn't think more highly of him...he's the absolute best!
