Dr. Thomas Christoper Sanchez, MD

Really great doctor that will spend the time to listen and consider the an option, or options, that are best for the patient. I highly recommend Dr Sanchez.

Apparently not everybody believes that headaches can come from pinched nerves high up in the neck. This doctor told me about cervicogenic headaches and did some injections that helped a lot. As much at least as ten years of a million meds. I have to get them done every 3-6 months but it’s the best therapy I’ve encountered so far.

This guy made me wait almost an hour! But, it ended up being worth it. A year later and I’ve avoided surgery and feel better then ever. Not cured, not saying that. He made my life livable after a decade of others failing.

Very personable and relaxed but gets to the point. Doesn’t waste a lot of time but does listen.

I saw Dr Sanchez for back pain after seeing two other specialists. He was immediately blunt about the fact that he could not help me, other then to get me to the right surgeon. I appreciated this and HE WAS RIGHT! The other pain guys just took advantage of my desperation and had me try a dozen injections which never helped. This guy told me straight.

One of the few docs (and only pain doc) in Anchorage that treated me with respect like what I said mattered and like he cared. The clinic staff suck, but I wouldn't go any other place (unless he moved) just because of what an outstanding doc and individual he is. I wish he would start his own practice. More than 3 quarters of the time your probably gonna be waiting in the waiting room for then to call you back some times its 20 mintues or and hour. In the end Sanchez makes you feel like your a human being. Someone youd want on your side in the medical field he'll never give up to find a solution to your medical needs I've been coming to see him for close to 4 years and I would hate to see him leave or go to another facility. If u want to have someone hear your needs and take the time to listen to all of your medical issues come see Thomas.

Medicine has become so commercialized and impersonal where patients are objects, not actual human beings. Anchorage has some of the worst specialists in the country that get away with being mediocre to downright bad and still stay in business. Dr. Sanchez is different. What I mean is he practices medicine like it should be practiced. Awesome Doctor! Hope he stays around for a while.

What a different experience compared to most Anchorage specialists. Dr. Sanchez took the time to research my condition from the records that were out there before seeing me and then he actually listened to me without prejudice or preconceived notions. I went in very apprehensive because of past experiences and wasn't happy about the 35 minute wait, but now I understand the wait because he actually spends time with his patients and doesn't treat them like an assembly line. I plan to keep seeing Dr. Sanchez and now I'm aware of the wait and the reason! Anchorage needs more doctors like him.

Lots of pain clinics in Anchorage. Dr. Sanchez is new I think because he took time to hear my story.
