Thomas John Savides, MD

I am a Physician myself (Urologist). I had a very bad experience with another G-I specialist and was seeing Dr. Savides as a second opinion (telemedicine). I was so impressed: great personality, good listener, knowledgeable, thorough, explains things well, and very reassuring. I feel so much better since seeing him. If I could, I would give the Doctor 6 stars!!

He is such a good gastroenterologist with decades of experience in gastroenterology. By now he should be promoted to Head / Director of the Gastroenterology Emergency Room 24 /7, where he can keep practicing his authentic bedside manners with select people.

I was sent to this physician located in La Jolla and I was apprehensive about driving an hour and a half . I can tell you that he is absolutely wonderful in every way and I would drive four hours to see him. He is kind, caring, honest, intelligent and so full of good information. He listens carefully and answers all of your questions. I felt like I had known Dr. Savides for years. If I could give him 100 stars instead of five, I would. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Savides is extremely personable and down-to-earth. From diagnosis to treatment, his answers to my questions have always been thorough and honest. Thanks to him and his staff, my condition has improved with every visit.

I was singularly impressed with Dr. Savides' breadth of knowledge and the caring fashion in which he communicated with me. I would highly recommend this clinician.
